My favorite thing about river crossing was getting it done, because the water was freezing cold. My least favorite thing about river crossing was doing it in a freezing cold river that had melted snow in it.

Arthur's Pass Camp Episode 2

 Hello Bloggers,

Today I'm Going to be telling you about Brian Duff. If you want me to tell you about Brian Duff then you will have do keep reading my blog post. if you want to learn about Brian Duff then look at the slide below to learn about Brian Duff.

My favorite thing about Brian Duff was not having to carry him. Instead of carrying Brian Duff I carried Lucas with my team. Just saying we were split into two teams, team fire, and team water. Team fire had to carry Brian Duff. Brian Duff was heavier than Lucas, because he had a basketball for a head. I bet you can guess what team I was in, because I didn't have to carry Brian Duff, so I couldn't be in team fire, instead of carrying Brain Duff I carried Lucas with my team, so that makes me in team water.

Have you ever had to carry someone in a stretcher before?
Have you seen Episode 1?
Have you ever done something like this before?
Would you like to try it?

Goodbye Bloggers,

 Come Back For Episode 3.

Did you present something at Student Summit (if you went)?

I have a dream

 Hello Bloggers,
We are about to start our learning on Speeches in Rimu. When I heard that we had to write speeches this year I was shocked, because I thought that we won have to write speeches this year,I also forget about speeches.
Before I tell you what my dream is for speeches I have something else to tell you. We had a task to do in order to train our brain. It was to draw ourselves, we used google drawings, and it is my DLO is below.

Here is my DLO!

While I was creating my DLO I thought about what I need to work on for speeches, and how I would make it look like me a little bit.
The hardest part for me during speeches is going to be confidence, because I was a little bit shy last year.
The easiest part is going to be writing my speech, because I already know what Iḿ going to be doing it about.
I chose these tips for myself, because I want to be more confident in myself when I present in in front of my class.

Have you ever wrote a speech before?
Have you ever presented a speech in front of your whole class before?
Have you ever presented a speech in front of your whole school before?
What is your favorite thing about speeches?

If you are writing a comment on my blog you might find these sentence starts helpful when you are writing a comment on this blog post.

Positive - I liked the way you...
Thoughtful - Did you think about...
Helpful - Next time, you could...

Goodbye, and see you next time Bloggers!

A Blog Comment needs to be kind so that the person reading it will feel good about what they have shared on their blog.
A Blog Comment needs to show that you have actually read their blog post, and that your not just doing this, because you were told too by your teacher or someone else.

Hello bloggers,

Today I'm going to be telling you all about resilience. If you don't know what resilience is, or don't know much about resilience then read my blog post to learn about resilience, or learn more about resilience.

Resilience is like a spring when you bend it then let go of one of it's ends then it always goes back, but it always get bigger then it was before. It is the same as if you feel like you have been stretched just do it, because if you have resilience you will always bounce back, but you will never be the same are before you felt like you were being stretched.

Have you tried this before with a spring?
Have you ever felt like you have been stretched?

Quality Blog Comments!

Hello bloggers,

Today we have been learning about how to write quality blog comments. We learnt this because it was one of our cybersmart tasks. We also makes a quality blog comments.

I found this task hard, because it was hard to give them thumbs up, or a thumbs down, because some of them where nice, and happy, but they weren't a proper quality blog comment. I think that in the end we gave it a thumbs up, because it still had one thing of what a quality blog comment should have. What it positive, it was a little bit thoughtful.

Do you know what the other thing is to make a quality blog comment is?
What do you think some of them are?
Do you know anything else that makes a quality blog comment?
What is your favorite thing about writing a quality blog comment?

12 Things About Me!

Hello bloggers,

Today I'm going to be telling you 12 things about me, but before I tell you that I have something else to tell you. In cybersmart we learnt about what images we can use online. Here is a link to Miss Morgan's Site with the slideshow on copyrighting. To do some of the tasks we had to get them from a site called unsplash. Unsplash is a website were people put photos that they have taken for people to use. Here is a link to unsplash. When we were using a photo from unsplash we had to include what it said after we had downloaded it for free.

Here are 12 things about me:

I think that pretty much everyone has used unsplash to do theirs. My favorite photo from unsplash would be the dog. My second favorite photo from unsplash would be the cat. If I had to do this again I would change the photos from unsplash, but keep the same thing on them.

What is your favorite food?
Is it the same as mine?
What is your nickname?
What is your favorite subject?
What is your favorite animal?
Is it a dog like mine?

We drawed them on paper, and then coloured them in. We didn't get to trace them we had to draw them by hand. When we finished we put them into plastic bags. If we finished early we could make small ones to fill in the gaps. Some people didn't make small ones to fill in the gaps, because they didn't have time to make any small ones. Some people made some small ones.

Have you ever done something like this?
What did your one look like if you have made one before?
What colours did you use if you have made one before?
Did you do it rainbow if you have done one before?

What happened was that all the glitter moved away from the center of the bowl and went to the sides like it was being forced to. Do you not believe me? Then try it you elf and see what happens. After the second time that you try it with the same water it will stop working, so you have to change the water and add some more glitter to make sure that it keeps working.
