Hello bloggers, today I'm going to be telling you six ways I would support my mum to achieve her dream job. My mums dream job is to become an architect. Here is six ways a would support mum to achieve her dream job.
Kia Ora Jorja, My name is Nadia, I'm a year 11 student from Hornby High and I will be commenting on some of your posts for the 2020 SLJ. Wow! I am impressed by this blog post, you have done a great job of creating a poster that both captures the eye and also uses colours that work well together. It is easy to read and is very attractive.
That's really cool that your Mum wants to become an architect, that's a really interesting job. Whenever anyone is striving for their goals, it's always good to have someone to be their cheerleader. Everyone needs a little support sometimes. When have you ever needed support?
Next time could you please make the font size on your poster larger? Even though it's quite easy to read, I think it would make it even easier to read for the other readers you may have. I also think if you mention in a small blurb, what the SLJ is and what the task asked of you would make it easier for the readers to understand.
Great job on this post Jorja, keep up the great work I hope to see a reply or two from you soon, you're sure to get more points if you do so. Until next time - Nadia :)
My name is Natasha, I'm from Hornby High and I'm going to be checking out some of your posts for the Summer Learning Journey these holidays! So far I'm super impressed.
Wooaaahh your mum is extremely lucky to have such a supportive daughter! I wish everyone was as encouraging to the people that surround them as you are - there are quite a few people who could learn a lot from someone like you!
I love the poster you've made, your title really stands out and I especially like the ways you plan on helping your mum if she chooses to go ahead and pursue her dream job! Well done on writing the brief explanation at the top of your post, too - I'm sure a lot of your viewers will appreciate it :)
Do you think next time you could say somewhere in your post that you are doing this activity for the Summer Learning Journey? You could even add a label to your posts so when someone goes onto your blog, they can click on the label and it shows them all of your blog posts for the Summer Learning Journey!
What is your dream job, Jorja?
Great work again, I thoroughly enjoyed reading your post and I'm looking forward to seeing what you do next! Have a great day, and I hope to hear from you soon :)
P.S, love the name! My sister has the same middle name, it's a very unique way of spelling it!
Congratulations on completing another activity! I love the way you've presented this one - the colours you've used really make it stand out.
While I'm here I just wanted to let you know that the Summer Learning Journey finishes next Friday (January 24th). You started off really strong, sharing some amazing posts but I've noticed that you haven't been as active recently. There's still plenty of time to jump back online and have a go at some of the activities you haven't done yet. Emma and I would love to see them. :)
Have a fantastic day, Jorja. I hope to see more SLJ posts from you soon.
I am happy to see that you have done a few of the SLJ activities. You only have four more days to go though, it would be great if you could get some more done. Think of the points and the comments you will be getting.
I, like Mikey and Natasha, think you have done a great job with your colours and presentation. I also love that you want to help your mum become an architect. It isn't easy trying to study as an adult with family but she is amazing for doing it. My dad studied when I was in high school and he was a wonderful example to me in how to keep going when it was hard.
Great go see that you have completed yet another SLJ activity! I like how you have presented this activity as it is bright and colourful!
This reminds me of when I did this except I asked my younger brother Sahil what he wanted to be and I think he said he wanted to be a lawyer but he kept changing his mind.
I think that to improve, maybe you could include what the SLJ is for those who don't know what it is.
To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows: 1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared. 2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say 3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
Note: only a member of this blog may post a comment.
